Your first form
This guide walks from an empty workspace to a shared feedback form with responses coming in. It sticks to what every plan includes — Pro extras are pointed out along the way.
1. Create a workspace
Everything you build lives in a workspace inside an organization. If you don't have one yet, create an organization from the organizations page (every new organization starts on the Free plan), then create a workspace inside it — the Free plan includes one workspace per organization and up to 5 forms per workspace.
If you already have a workspace, just open it — the sidebar's Forms entry is where this guide starts.
2. Create the form
On the Forms page, click New form, give it a name, and create it. You land directly in the form builder.
On the Professional plan the dialog also offers an optional custom URL slug — safe to skip; you can route the form later.
3. Add inputs
The Form Items library on the left holds every building block: text and long text, email, number, date, single and multiple choice, rating, NPS, Likert, ranking, consent, and more — plus structural items like section headers, statements, and page breaks. Drag an item into the canvas, or click it to append it at the end.
Select any item to edit it in the Inspector on the right — its label, whether it's required, its options, and per-type settings.
4. Configure the form
The settings button in the header groups everything form-level: a title and description, visibility (public or private), an optional password, the layout (a single page, or multi-step using page breaks), an availability schedule, and branding.
Password protection is available on every plan — visitors must enter the password before the form opens.
5. Save, preview, and share
The builder saves when you click Save (or press Ctrl/Cmd+S) — the status pill in the header tells you when there are unsaved changes. Switch to the Preview tab to try the form exactly as a visitor will see it.
The Share tab shows the shareable link once the form is saved. Set visibility to public so anyone with the link can respond, and optionally set an availability window right in the dialog.
6. Watch responses come in
Responses appear on the workspace's Responses page — open any row for the full submission, and export everything as CSV or PDF. The Analytics page charts trends and per-question breakdowns as responses arrive.
